Steel erection projects completed by TechnoCity
TechnoCity are specialists in steel erection, roofing and cladding and our engineers are authorised to install systems from companies such as Rigidal, Kingspan and Chorus.
We are highly experienced in building stadiums, aircraft hangers, warehouses and factories.
Welding
Throughout the projects we have completed we have gained world class expertise in welding aluminium, cargo steel and stainless steel.
The Olympic Athletic Stadium, Athens
TechnoCity have completed many steel erection projects on time and on budget. One of the most outstanding examples is the Olympic Athletic Stadium in Athens, Greece.
This amazing steel construction was completed within 12 months from 2003-2004 and was a construction of 19,500 tonnes.
Imitated yet never exceeded the 304 metre free roof span is the largest in the world.
New Doha International Airport, Doha, Qatar

The airport will replace an existing facility, increase passenger and cargo-handling capacity, and accommodate the new Airbus A380 super jumbo jets. When open, the new airport will accommodate 24 million passengers and 750,000 metric tons of cargo annually.
It will feature two of the longest commercial runways in the world, an 85 meter high control tower, a 510,000-square-meter passenger terminal with 40 gates, a separate terminal for the Emir of Qatar, a general aviation terminal, a cargo terminal, a 150,000 square meter aircraft maintenance center, one of the world’s largest airport catering facilities, state-of-the art air traffic control equipment and security systems.
Before TechnoCity could start work a 62 million cubic metre land reclamation project occured to create the airport site and the largest environmental cleanup project in Qatar’s history, the removal of 6.5 million cubic metres of household waste from a dump on the project site to a remote engineered landfill constructed to strict environmental standards.
